What is my money going to?
Every dollar donated will go to purchasing nutritional packets for an entire day (3 packets a day).
What are nutritional packets?
Nutritional packets, formerly known as ready to use therapeutic packets (RUTFs), are small packets that consist of fortified milk, peanut butter, and essential vitamins and minerals. RUTFs provide all the basic daily nutritional needs for a child.

Who uses RUTFs, or nutritional packets?
RUTFs are used in developing counties by organizations like UNICEF, WHO, among others, to treat severe malnutrition in children.
RUTFs are used by mothers for their young children suffering from malnutrition. Three servings of RUTFs a day can restore health in children in 6 weeks.
Why $30,000?
$30,000 is the amount needed to fill a 20-foot shipping container with RUTFs. 30,000 will allow us to purchase about 13.5 pallets of RUTFS with 6750 packets in each pallet!
How will the shipment get to Yemen?
The products will be purchased from MANA nutrition and will be shipped in a 20-foot shipping container from the port of Oakland to the port of Aden.
Is Project Feed Yemen (PFY) affiliated with any political party in Yemen?
No, PFY has absolutely no affiliation with any political party whatsoever. Project Feed Yemen and the Give 5, Nourish 5 Campaign were established to provide nourishment to Yemeni children suffering from severe malnutrition, without any regards to a political or religious party, ideology, or belief. . These packets will be distributed to any and every child in need of them insofar as there is access to those children.
